Jess is starting to sleep longer 4/5hrs which is great but she is still only taking between 60-90 mls - sometimes a little more, I tend to feed on demand (ff) is this ok, I do encourage more but she refuses, there's only so much I can do

any advice??

Hi hun, if she's happy with what she's taking there is nothing to worry about. Omar was taking 3-4 oz every 4 hours & was sleeping through for 6-7 hours at night with no feeds at 2.5 months. U can try changing the teat size & see how it goes. xx

Thankyou x we gave changed size already so that's ok

Also when you make up a bottle of 150mls the amount goes up by 30mls because if the weight of the formula, do you go by the new amount or the original amount of water you put in when calculating how much they have drunk?

U should go with the original amount of water hun. I never had a big drinker & the max he went for was 24 oz at around 4 months then he started to drop his intake again, but it never affected his growth. He was at the 82 nd percentile when he was 2 months & maintained it until we started weaning at around 6.5 months xx
