Slimey Lochia *update

For the past couple of days Ive noticed my lochia is getting more slimey. It's kind of more orangy than red and more slimey like a discharge

Is this normal?

Update
It's now gone really stringy. As I was getting up from the toilet a massive string of gloop was hanging down. Then next time I went there were gloops in the toilet. Orange colour still. As it's the consistency of discharge it's not soaking into my towel just sitting on top

Mines still quite watery but occasionaly I get what you're explaining to, it's quite stringy and orange, not nice!

i wasnt sure where to post, but this thread seems as good as any. Its 4 weeks tomorrow since my csection and my loss turned a snotty colour over the past few days. Someone tell me this is normal cos i think my doctor is gettin sick of seeing me x

a snotty colour, as in greeny? If so I'd def pester the doc some more x

Green is definitely not good. If it's more yellowy then it's usually nothing to worry about unless you have other symptoms.

what kind of other symptoms? Its a yellowy green. Great, dont think much more could go wrong. Is it normal to still have this 4 weeks later though yes? I was hoping it would of stopped by now x

ah good post mine is going kinda snotty but totally colourless and odour less with the odd wee bit of blood in it kinda like a show but less blood glad that seems to be coming to the end then xx

I gave birth a day before you, so we're pretty much equal. Mine is getting stringy too, but mine is very dark red still, although there's hardly any of it

mine has stopped today better not come back tonight or anything like it has done over the last week tho over the last 2 days ive not really done much so maybe it has something to do with that...probably tmi here but it did go a kinda orangey colour yesterday..o the strange things our bodys do! xx

That was normal for me, I was wondering how the heck it was orange, but same, lots when I wiped, but not alot on pad! it stopped shortly after! (bout 4 days) xx

yeah ive still got it when i wipe..at this rate it will just be away and AF will return xx
