SMA GOLD or Aptamil which do u recommend or use

They are sister companies yes, parented by Nutricia but their formula milks are different, its not like their packing the same product in different boxes or anything

My step son was on cow and gate, and my son was on cow and gate, none of them could stomach aptamil or SMA so I'm going with cow and gate again

I just went for Cow n Gate lol. It has the milk scoop and scraper built in so no need for the knife, you can do it one handed! Never even thought about any others. OH went n got that n we stuck with it lol. May use it again if i need to xx

i used SMA with DS and i will again, i think thou it all depends on the baby x

I have always used SMA gold. I breastfed my last little one for a few weeks then moved onto that and she seemed to adjust fine to it. I am planning to breastfeed this littleone for as long as I can and then will move onto SMA again.

I used SMA gold to combi with BF for DS1 & DS2, then moved up to the SMA hungrier babies formula later (ample breast milk, just two BIG hungry boys!)

They were fine on both & if I need to I'll repeat with LO & see how he goes.

I have no experience with either but my mum recommended I buy SMA gold to start as that is what they preferred when she worked as a midwife at our local hospital x

I wont b using Sma, have been told its too rich. When I was born I was very ill and was put on Milupa and was the first baby ever in our area to try it so kinda got in my mind to stay with that. But each to their own and agree with the trial and error comment previously
