Has anyone else found that SMA is harder for their baby to digest than other formulas?

SMA made my Lo really constipated, shes on cow and gate comfort, and it really suits her

we have used all the milks and apart from her being lactose intolerant we didnt have a problem with any, she moved onto lactose free sma and was constipated with that or more poo was very very firm but she did go regularly.
we are now in regular sma and she is thak god fine poo time is regular

Thats the problem i found with it would it be abit late too switch now do u think, my LO is 8 months?

I don't see why you can't change, we just went straight from one to the other. I didn't know if you were supposed to do it gradually or anything, but I couldn't see how you would do that, and besides he was in pain anyway so it could have only improved matters as far as I could see. If you don't want to change you could try giving some cooled boiled water to help things along (we did that too and it was surprising how much even just an oz of water helped).

emily's been on it since birth
no problems so far

cant see why you cant switch ...

SMA has more iron in it than c&g or aptamil so hence the constipation!! We switched Ernie from it to aptamil and he is a lot better!!

my midwife/nurse told me you can just change, you don't need to do it gradually x
