Hi girlies, lo has reflux and after no joy with gaviscon gp has said to try SMA staydown. If anyone has used it, just a couple of q's,.. I know you have to make it with chilled boiled water, do you heat it up a little beforegiving it to your lo??
Also, what do you do when out and about with it? Ie making in advance etc.
Thanks ladies xxx

I chill down the water, add the powder, roll the bottle between your hands(not shake).

I then either add a bit of hot water from kettle to warm it up, or heat in the bottle warmer. Never been clumpy since i started doing that.

Going out, I fill the bottle with water, cool down, and close it. I use tiny containers from Asda and pre-measure my powder into there! Or you could get powder dispensers from Boots.

Thankyou :) have you seen an improvement in your lo? Xx

Defo! Consitpation was a thing of a past! We were on medications to help the reflux too though, but it all helped

Iv started on this but had to change teats as it's alot thicker

Yeh I found that too, spent a fortune on size 2 teats n then needed size 3! Worth it though he's hardly ever sick now x

ive never found it to be thicker as long as its made up cold x
