small bbq food ideas

Were having a bbq tonight with just us , MIL and FIL and SIL and her boyfriend so we dont need lots of food but my minds gone blank for some ideas other than the usual burgers and hotdogs!!

Ideas please?!

Corn on the cobs, chicken/king prawn & veg skewers (I use coloured peppers and cherry tomatoes and red onion in between pieces of meat/fish), chocolate bananas baked in tin foil on the barby mmmmmmm Have fun

Bananas on the bbq are amazing!!

wrap them in tin foil with a few cubes of galaxy choc

waldorf salad (surprisingly good!)
plain ol' salad with dressings

I'd suggest running to the produce section of your market and looking for things that are ready-made. Acme has a waldorf salad ready-made, it's good. Then they have things like salsa, pico de gallo, etc that you can put with corn chips; bakery goods, nuts.

Potato salad and macaroni salads are great but they really need to be prepared the day before. No one likes them hot.
