Small lump between lower abdominaland groin

Hello, my wife has just found a small lump in that area. She had a miscarriage last week (bhcg of 24 then 2 days later bhcg of 4).

Has anyone had this same sinareo? she has had 2 miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy this year and im a bit worried there might be something not quite right. The GPs and specialists are always reassuring and encourage a natural conception so maybe im being paranoid.

the lump is about 12mm long and 3mm wide, is hard and as ive been typing this has dissapeared.

Sorry, I have no idea what it could be but your best bet is to ask your doctor.

The only thing I could even guess at would be a lymph node that is slightly swollen. But I'm definitely NOT a doctor. Just keep an eye out for possible infection (lymph nodes tend to swell during an infection) and see a doctor if you're concerned or find that the swelling gets bigger.

This was my first thought. I really would suggest seeking medical attention. You need to make sure it isn't an infection as that can cause long term problems.

I would imagine a gland - although like above am not a dr and def keep pushing for advice and a checkup if u r concerned and it continues. I have similar swelling lumps but mine are in my face, they only came up since becoming pregnant and I had a missed miscarriage last week and now the lumps have nearly gone. I went to the dr 4/5 times in 2 weeks about them and they did nothing saying it was probably just an infection and I shoulnd't worry - I did not know I was pregnant, they just gave me various antibiotics to help the pain they sometimes gave me.
