Small tip! Phoning tax credits!

Ive been having to call up tax credits constantly over the past few days as i had a change of circumstances which meant cancelling my claim and starting a new one and they are taking forever to sort it, anyhow...

because of the renewal thing that has to be done by today its near impossible to get through by selecting the correct option but i discovered that by selecting option 4 then letting it go through the options to the end and it says "for anything else please hold" u get through every time, well so far ive got through the 5 times ive done it lol so if u need to call today then do that regardless of the reason! Kx

or as soon as u get to the hotline part press 0#0#0#0#0#0# and it wil take u straight to an advider xxx

I always phone them on this number as it is free from my mobile. I have never had to wait in a queue. They ask where your from because it's meant to be for people oversees but they always just say " oh because we're not busy right now we can deal with your enquiry".
