Hello ladies

I fully accept that this is the kind of thread that you might look at and think "oh for god sake...". But please bear with me...

I'm 5-6 weeks after TTC for 10 long months. I want to relax but I'm finding it hard. One of the many things I'm worrying about is sneezing. I have tonnes of allergies and sneeze a lot, often quite violently to the extent that I can feel it in my abdomen area and below.

I'm so scared it might dislodge the baby - do you think I am being completely silly or should I check with my doctor?

Stop with the worrying!!! Your body is very protective over your bubba, think of your womb as a body guard... No ammount of sneezing will harm your baby! My friend was in her first trimester through the summer with the worst hayfevet ever! She sneezed beyond belief, also was taking pescribed meds as well. Pregnancy was fine..... Saying that everytime I sneeze i do hold my bits, like I'm trying to stop it flying out or something!!! Relax xx

I also sneeze alot and was worried about this but as I was told the baby isn't attached to any muscles and that's where we feel the sneeze. Same as when were really constipated?
Xx

Thanks for the reassurance! I know you're right and actually my hubby says exactly the same thing about the womb being protected! Just so hard not to worry when I want this so much.

Hi Feemee our posts crossed. Thats interested about the muscles. I might research that x

This is my fourth and to be honest when i sneeze i just worry about weeing myself  i'm sure no amount of sneezing or violent vomiting is going to dislodge your baby hun x

Dont worry about that! lol I too worried about little things, but once your bean is attached it's VERY hard and uncommon for it to un-attach :)
