so angry

im so angry i had my little girl on tuesday nite and when she came out wasnt breathing and had to go to speacial care. where she was resusitated and found to have an infection aswell. i text her dad the next day telling him i had her and that she wasnt well so was in the NNU to which he just replied 'ok, hope she gets better soon' and i havent heard from him since. she spent 5 days in hospital and he didnt even come visit im so angry at him what parent could sit there and not be bothered that there baby is in NNU. i now know i made the right decision in ending things with him early on in my pregnancy because he obviously got a screw loose!!!

thats shocking!! but unfortunately so so common. when i was with my ex and my son had been admitted to hospital my ex didnt come in to see us (i stayed in hospital with lo) coz, and i quote, "its boring in the hospital" erm your son is in hospital on a drip coz he cant even keep water down and they are running blood test to find out what is wrong and what to use to treat him with and you dont want to be bored?!?

i hope your lo is better. my eldest was in nicu when he was born and its so so scary.

Same kinda thing happened to me when my son was taken to hospital he was practically starving to death from a blockage in his stomach at 6 weeks old he had to be put on a drip and we were told he might not make it during the operation ... fob wanted me to stay at the hospital while he went home I was sooo annoyed and upset with him ... I really dont know what to say except dont even bother telling him anything, ignore him, keep him out of your life as it is probably better for you and bubs that he stays away with an attitude like that... P.S I hope bubs is better now

thats men for you and dont expect it to change sorry but from experience they are selfish. i would get on with thing without know its hard xx hope LO gets well

yeh LO is fine now. FOBs sister emailed me yesterday asking if she can see baby so told her i will bring her to see her in a couple weeks as i dont think its fair to cut my LO off from her dads family if they want to see her. unfortuniatly for him he doesnt tell his sister anything so when i tel her that he didnt even come visit sophia in NNU he is gunnabe in heaps of trouble
