At the moment, if I'm offered a meal choice of something or a Marmite sandwich - I will pick a marmite about 80% of the time.
I've got through an entire squeezy jar in less than 2 weeks, I average two marmite sandwiches a day.
I'm eating one right now.
Don't get me wrong - usually I'm a bit of a fan, I occasionally fancy it but I find I get sick of it quite quickly. I find myself actually needing a 'marmite hit' by basically plastering both sides of the bread in the stuff so that I'm overwelmed by it.
I know there's folic acid in it, so figured maybe my body just needed a bit more of that - but turns out it has Riboflavin as well, which is something us pregnant women need a bit more of for the babies development
My body must reconise this is a good way or obtaining the vitamin and is as such making me relentless crave it
The only downside is the salt content being quite high, but low fat and very low sugar is all good, I find I perfer it on brown bread too.
Anyone else wanna spread the marmite love?
