OMG I know how you feel. My entire body is soooooooo itchy :( it just doesn't stop!

Its quite frustrating isnt it. ive used E45 but only calms it for 5/10 minutes argh xx

I am exactly the same and I was with my daughter. I have a cream called doublebase prescribed which helps.

I'm asking to have liver function tests ran too as it can be a problem with your liver

Have you tried Aveeno cream? Works a treat on itchy skin. Mention it to your mw too when you see her as it can indicate something more serious, just so she knows x

Thanks for your replies :)
I have double base pumps in my bathroom as my son has exsthma. Ill try that and look for Aveena too. Anything is worth a try. Ill def mention it to my mw. My feet and shins are so painful too its alot harder this time round not that im complaining of course icant wait to meet lo x

I actually just watched this show "Midwives" that's filmed in the UK and a woman was itching really bad and it was a problem with her liver. I'd bring it up with your OB or midwife and see if they can test for it. It's a weird symptom but its the most recognizable I think they said, but the liver thing can be really serious if not treated.

I get itchy too so annoying, as for cough ive had mine for 8 weeks now and no sign of it going away :( Even doctor has no idea

Thanks ladies.
Ive put the cough down to my hayfever as im suffering really bad atm. Ive got an appointment with my midwife friday so fingers crossed. Its my chin, throat an neck that itches the most so frustrating x

Any itching must get checked out girls, could be obstetric cholestasis which is serious

My sister had it with all 3 pregnancies and they induce you before you get to 37 weeks

Xx

This is exactly me with my hayfever at the moment. Every single year I get itchy skin all over my face and neck, the roof of my mouth itches like crazy and drives me bonkers and I'm a sneezing wreck. I'll be mentioning the itching to the midwife on Tuesday as I have an app but I think 99% likely it's the pollen! I hate hayfever when drugs aren't an option!

I think it can be normal to itch but also it can be a sign of cholestasis, they would run blood tests on you to be sure

My friend recent went in with bad itching and all was ok so don't stress to much yet. Xx
