Hello all,
I had my lap and dye on monday. Been really out of it since then, today is my first "with it" day. They gave me temazepam to calm me pre anaesthetic as i was quite upset and then gave me gas prior to the actual anaesthetic as i am terrified of needles.
All in all i was rather high!!!!
The good news is everything appears normal, so thats now a clean bill of health for both of us. However it puts us in the "unexplained infertility" bracket and i'm not sure how i feel about that. Whilst i'm happy there are no real problems, we still don't have a real answer either!!!! Not sure how to feel!!!
For those due to have the op soon, it really isn't all that bad! I was terrified, yes you do get a freaky pain in your shoulder but its not that bad if you do some simple breathing exercises and you'll feel bruised and tender in your abdomen region but for me that now feels a small price to pay for answers.
Didn't help that i got sick, and spent most of tuesday night with sickness and diarrhoea - and pulled alot of muscles with it so caused myself a whole load more discomfort!!!!
We go back to see the specialist in 2 weeks to discuss what happens next.
to all, hope you are all well xxx
