Hey, so my baby's due on the 24th of march and I'm not entirely sure who the FOB is. It's one of two guys... Well one of the guys doesn't want it and the other one is expecting with another girl... I was just wondering if you guys have any advice or been in the same position, I'm feeling really alone right now..

Not and haven't been in the same situation but I hope everything works out for you. You will have to do some DNAtesting or something at some point because centrelink HAVE to have the name of the father -.-

yes deffinetely do the DNA testing that way you can get child support from one of them regardless of if they're involved in the baby's life or not, (which I think they dont deserve to be)

Thank you guys for the advice it's a very stressful time for me at the moment... Trying to relax for Bub.. I know I have to get a DNA test but I'm feeling like I'd rather not know... I know that's ridiculous...

Sorry I'm not a teen mom but I hope you don't mind me popping in. You said you'd rather not know and I understand that. But you aren't going to do this DNA for your peace of mind. Your going to do this for that unborn baby. Trust me. Regardless of how things turn out with FOB....this child will feel empty and like a puzzle piece is missing if you can't tell them who the father is....they don't need the father to actually be in their life but the not knowing will seriously stress a child out. Not today or tomorrow. But as they get older and teens and become parents themselves there will always be this genetic "unknown". Please do this just for your baby's sake!!!

I'm not in the same position but I've been apart of it. I'm a triplet and 3 days after we were born my father left and never came back. My mom raised triplet girls with alot of help from family members but did just fine without a dad in the picture. I'm sorry for what your dealing with. It's hard but not impossible. Just get DNA testing and get child support. It took two people to make this child so just one of you paying to raise the child is not fair. I'm sorry for how your feeling but things will look up soon! Please don't stress to much and enjoy your pregnancy!!!

If it is the second guy then you also have to consider your child may have a half brother or sister

I grew up with my half brother he may genetically be half but to me hes just my brother but my friend didn't grow up with hers and went looking for him and as an extreme case my other friend refused to date men and is now in a gay relationship because she was so terrified she may actually sleep with he brother knowing she had a brother and didn't know who or where he was (not saying she is gay purely because of that but it caused her a lot of problems in her teen personal development years when she was scared to even get closes to boys as friends)

it will mean a lot to your child just to know who their family are even if they dont like their family
