Info: So me and the OH bd'd a few weeks ago maybe 1 1/2 weeks to 2 weeks ago... Then we did last night too... so ..

Heres my question: For the first time we bd'd should i be testing or no...and from last night how long do i gotta wait

earliest to test is probably 10-14 DPO (days past ovulation). Ovulation is the time of your cycle where an egg drops from the ovary to be fertilized.

Once released, the egg is capable of being fertilized for 12 to 24 hours before it begins to disintegrate. If the released ovum or egg is fertilized and successfully implants, it results in pregnancy.

It's hard to say when you will ovulate but it is usually at the half way point in your cycles, although it could happen earlier or later. You can use OPKs and such to try and track your ovulation date, but some people can 'feel' ovulation approaching (usually cramps in your ovarys).

So anyway, if you know when you ovulated, just count the DPO (days past ovulation) to give you a good estimate time to take a test. TTC is a lot more than just having unprotected sex. Sperm can survive in you for a couple days so BDing a couple days before your ovulation day can result in pregnancy too! Just make sure you get busy around that time

You'll test for them both at the same time hun, as you test when AF is due, not a set time from when you bd'ed.

Some tests will work from up to 4 days before AF is due, however for best results you're prob best to wait and test if AF doesnt turn up.

yeah i would wait a bit hunny
