so now im becoming paranoid - girl ?

hi ladies
i had a scan on monday and the tech said i was expecting a little girl . im so excited that i will be having one of each but now im a little paranoid, because there werent 3 lines that we could see because baby was being very shy. the tech said she was flashed a few times and she definately did not see any scrotum or penis once. thats good right ? with my son, it was obvious he was a little boy, it was just hanging there.
the only thing thats got me worried is she didnt give me a percentage or anything and now im completely freaking out that im going to go buy all this pink and shes going to pop out with a willy
what would you think ? ? ? i dont have any good potty shots because she mostly has her legs closed in the photos

Congrats firstly. Secondly if she wasnt sure then she prob would have said so? Maybe get a private scan just to reasure urself or wait till ur next scan before buying anything? Xxx

I agree with Wantabean....same thing kinda happened to me at mine, but she did say 80%....but I go back tomorrow to check again. I would go crazy and woulda scheduled a private scan if they hadn't rescheduled me.

i dont get another scan though ? this was my anatomy scan, they scheduled it at 18 weeks, so it wasnt a gender scan

ok so i figured out how to get photos on my computer from the CD. only problem is, that her legs are pretty closed
im trying to get a gender scan but they wont ring me back !! ive called so many times.


ughhh i hate having this doubt, i wish my little girl could have stayed still just so i could see that she was a girl !

im saying defo girl ! even by them pics, theres nothing there to say a boy anyways , if u wanted another scan i guess u wud have to go private or trust the lady, dnt 4get she does this job day in day out, im sure ur having a girl x

thanks ladies i guess you are right about her doing the job day in day out. i just wish she could have showed a clear shot of her being a girl. i definately didnt see anything hanging there. ughh just going to wait for the gender scan people to ring me !

I have a question, if I want a scan sooner than 22 weeks for a gender scan would they be able to do that?

only if you go to a place specifically for gender scans i think. the diagnostic ones are only for medical needs etc. things like gender etc have to go private

Yes you can get a private scan from 16 weeks.

For what it's worth she looks very girlie to me.

I've beeen a little worried about my baby coming out with a willy too...I've gone a little OTT with the pink, painted the room lilac, and am decorating it in a flower theme. If it comes out a boy, it will just have to cross-dress for the first few months and i'll have to make a girl quickly cos I put so much effort into the room I dont want to redecorate it!
