Says it in the title. I have a month old barring one day as I was in labour 14th Jan- crikey where has the month gone!

Anywho beings most people like myself on this forum have very recently had babies what are you doing for valentines day?.

Hubby had already left me a card before he left for work at 6.20 this morning to open as a surprise after getting up to do our sons bottle. I had a lovely me to you valentines card and hubby drew the baby on as a me to you bear, its his thing he makes the me to you bears 'look' like us, well I find it cute and nice anyway :-).
He doesnt finish work till 3, doesnt get back until around 5 due to travel time. He normally rings me at 12 on his lunch so that will be nice as I get to thank him for the card.
Once he gets home we are going to one of our favourite restaurants that welcome children and babies, so were going out like a little family, table booked for 5.30ish so we can get back home at a reasonable time.

I have made my hubby a valentines card as I tried going to town yesterday but it started raining so to keep our son warm I thought I would make a card.
I am also hoping beings I am a month/5 weeks pp, after section, that maybe we will have sex again for the first time since the baby was born. That all depends on if baby will sleep of course!.
I honestly dont know what else my hubby has in store for me he normally does, but if this all i get im very happy with it:happydance:

The only thing I need to sort is to find something that resembles clothes that fit as nothing fits properly, im in limbo between my maternity stuff and my pre preg stuff.

We are stopping in and cooking a nice meal we have a 9 and 4 year old and a 5 week old, since having our 1st 9 years ago valentines day has become a family occasion, not just me and my husband lol, I think it's going to be like that for a while and to tell you the truth I don't think I'd have it any other way. Hope you have a lovely evening out and it's very special and you get lots of nice things

Thanks, I know what you mean about it being about the family. It will be the first time since the birth we have gone out on our own without anyone else as I am still not driving so relying on my willing retired dad with a car until my postnatal check lol (damn insurance policies), so its just me, hubby and our son. Im looking forward to it.

we don't really go in for the whole valentines cos we don't need shops to tell us to say I love you, we did give each other cards this morning though. Will be baking some cakes with my daughter with hearts on & I'll cook him a nice dinner but thats it he won't get no loving as just this morning got first post baby period :haha: talk about good timing

this is DD's first V day, and while I got my DH a card from me and her, and some chocolates :haha: we don't have any plans but to unpack, unpack, unpack. Although DH told me he had a surprise, so waitin on that :)
