Me and my friend went shopping yesterday, she has a 5mth old and we both breast feed. Anyways we were sitting in the food court feeding her 2.5yr old daughter and Savannah wanted a feed. So I fed her, then my friend fed her daughter; then I looked over afterwards to see another mother feeding her baby.

It made me so proud to live in a country where people can bf in public and not worry about what people are going to say to them or being asked to leave a certain place. Just had to post :)

*This isn't a go at any other coutries, i've just heard of some people who are scared to bf in public because of what other people will and do say*

I was at the Whole Foods in London a few months ago, and I was eating in their food court and I swear there were 5-6 of us moms nursing there. It was awesome!!

Now that sounds like a good reason for me to move to Australia!!!

Im australian and wish i was back there !

You should come back, it's a great place! Why'd you move anyways?

I didnt choose to move i was 11 at the time and my mother moved us.
My brother has gone back and so has my dad.
Me and OH moved out in 2005 out there , but OH only had a working visa then , there quite strict with Immigration so we needed to come back to work on our visa over here. Anyway cut along story short , by gaining proof we have got ourself in aload of debt which we have to pay off before we can start the applicaton  Long process , but well worth it. Australia is just brilliant!

Would be great if you came back! You should move to SE QLD with me! :)

We probably move back to Cairns , although i also like to move to Brisbane as i really enjoyed staying there and lots of things for the children to do with all the theme parks ect!

South East- Brisbanes included. It's about 1.5hrs from me. Too busy for me, i'm a country gal :)

Lol, it's not that country here. Still plenty of shops, although theres only a couple of major shopping centres opposed to plenty in bris.

Ooof too hot for me my family is Swedish and I like it cold cold cold! But way to go with the aussie breast feeders! I cant wait to do it - not going to do it on purpose to prove a point but just wait for the time when Leo is hungry and I am out! I may practice the whole muslin thing at home though!

Im reading your post in an Australian accent to myself! Didnt realise I was doing it!

i went to the shopping centre here just before i had my baby and was quite upset that i saw lots of tiny babys being fed but noone was breast feedng :-(
