Just found out today, at 6 weeks and 3 days that my ultrasound didn't show a heartbeat or a yolksac. The nurse thinks the miscarriage will commence soon.

I'm heartbroken. So frustrating.

I am so sorry for your loss Toucansofsoda.. Even though it will be hard, please remain positive and look to the future and try again as soon as you are able. Try to focus on your next round and remaining healthy and positive for your future LO. I'm sure it will happen. This just wasn't the right time, even though I'm sure you wanted it to be so bad. Everything happens for a reason. I totally believe that! FX'ed for you.. hang in there

So sorry to hear that... I am feeling sad too because I just foung out that my hcg went from 215 to 354 in 3 days so it is not doubling I am 5 weeks today. I dont know what to think.. I had bleeding for 5 days last week but is has now stopped.. I am terrified to loose pregnancy it is my first pregnancy and I had ivf..

It is frustrating. I'm waiting on the blood results this afternoon.
I feel pregnant, everything. At first, the level after 12 days after 5dt was 212. Two days later it more than doubled at 520... things were looking good. A week later we did the first ultrasound and it shoed 4 mm. And then a week later (today) it showed only 6 mm. Something is wrong. No yolk sac, no heartbeat... the tech said that maybe it would show in a day or two, but it alarmed her that she didnt see a yolk sac or anything else other than the sac itself.

you should give it sometime I have read success stories about people not seeing a HB initially and then later finding a nice strong HB. It may be too early. I wish everything works out for you.
