I'm sorry if someone has already posted this, I haven't read all the replies but I have just emailed my MP and the Minister for children and families (ha!) because I've been messed around with appointments, our antenatal classes have been cancelled so we've had to pay for them with the NCT, and we can't be guaranteed a midwife for a home birth. All of this is set out in the Government policy document 'Maternity Matters' which isn't actually supposed to be in place until the end of 2009 but I don't care, I think these are basic things we should all be entitled to.
