I left my abusive husband nearly 7 years ago. My name was changed immediately by deedpoll and I obviously lived elsewhere.

Today I have received a water bill addressed to me in my old married name and to my ex for nearly 2 grand!

Turns out he hasn't paid it since I left.

I have electoral roll etc proof that I have not lived there in all that time so they won't be getting a penny out of me but my main concern is how have they found me (I've moved 3 times) and have they given my ex my current address??? The letter they sent me has his address on it so I'm assuming they could have given him mine??

Does anyone know what I'll need to do to stop any other letters coming for anything else he may not have paid??

I'be moved on. I have a loving man and our 2 beautiful babies and seeing that *******s name linked to my family home has gutted me x
