Hi girls,

Okay, so my softcups arrived today and I just tried one for practice before the real deal begins this month. So I folded it in half like it said to and then put it up there length wise, and it didn't go very far in. I couldn't jam it in any farther...and could feel the tip of it right at the opening of my vagina (sorry TMI). ?????????? This can't be how it is supposed to be worn.

Here visit their website: https://www.softcup.com/ there's an instructional video on the left side of the page near the top. That's what helped me! :)

Good luck! I keep hearing they are difficult at first, but hopefully better with practice.

Yeah I got a Mooncup yesterday and have been staring at it wondering how on earth Im going to get it all in...LOL!

i used soft cups for the first time this month and was scared to use at first as they seem so big, after several tries and different positions (much to my oh's amusement) it went in place and now its easier x

It helps a lot when you are all ahem "wet" down there. It just kinda slides in easily because its so slippery. Give it one last push and it should disappear. It should go behind the pubic bone (you shouldn't be able to feel it from outside). Hope this helps. Oh and i do it lying down, so that may help too.

Hi, been using one for about 3 years, not for TTC. I found the way they show you to fold on instructions didn't work for me, I found a website with different ways to fold which really helped me.

Final tip (sorry if TMI) I had problems with being able to feel it and it slipping, I found if I squeezed the bottom (to release any suction) and twisted and pushed it upwards it would go in place (gosh does that sound as disgusting to you as it does to me) sometimes doing pelvic floor exercise type squeezing also helps get it right.

I love mine now, wouldn't be without it. :happydance:

Plus always had really heavy periods and they've become lighter since using it. (they do say that can happen)

I'm complete opposite!! I can get them in easily it's getting them out that's a problem!! If anyone has tips that make it simple for getting them out...please do share!

Is that a mooncup or softcup?

It's a softcup :)

Does that fit behind the cervix and behind the public bone like a diaphragm?

If it does I've used a diaphragm in the past, I found pushing downwards with pelvic floor and then hooking out from behind pubic bone with a finger usually works. (I really can't believe some of the things I type on here, lol)

I stuck it in there and my cervix grabbed it and kinda sucked itself up there...when I went to take it out though I freaked because I could BARELY reach it, does that mean I may have a long cervix?

I'm going to try pushing with my pelvic floor and see what happens

I wouldn't have thought so, just had a look at a pic of one on internet and they look smaller than a diaphragm so maybe that's why it 'sucked itself up there'.

Hopefully using your pelvic floor muscles should work.

Good luck

I think I have small anatomy!!!!! Seriously girls, I can't get it to go in at all! What is wrong with me? It just stops right when the tip of it is like a mm sticking out of me still!

I got the hang of it by in the end by putting one leg on the bath which isn't easy when you're trying to stop everything dribbling out, now can do it lying down, keep trying you'll get it x
