Softening pelvis?

For the last month or so I've had a slight ache when I wake up. It's not everyday though. It's sort of in my bum muscle somewhere and is only ever on one side (the side varies though). I haven't worked out if it's the side I'm sleeping on at the time or the opposite (too sleepy!). It eases when I change position and goes completely soon after getting up.

Anyone else get this? I just wondered if it's because of all those muscles loosening in preparation for labour?
 
Yeah i think your right, i have similar pains that start in my bum and travel down my leg but i think mine is syatica
 
I was reading about this in bed this morning! I woke up with an ache in my groin area (kind of like the feeling when you're really desperate for the loo). It was quite painful when I woke up, but is gone now.

I'm not sure if that's what it is, as it sounds like a different area to your ache. I will ask my MW next week.
