Just a question on the above really.

My daughter will be 9m in a couple of weeks and she had been blw since 6 months. She is now "eating" the food and really enjoying it.

She "has" roughly 5bottles of formula (7floz) a day (this is based on a good day when she is on top form and in her normal routine)
She is not eating enough at the moment to sustain her totally. I give her water at mealtimes in a proper cup which she loves drinking from and try to give her bits of water throughout the day which she has a few sips from a non drip cup.

But when do you/can you drop a bottle of formula. How do you know which one to drop?

She has the following meals a day:
Breakfast: 1/2 slice of (wholemeal) toast with jam and margarine and 1/2 banana
Lunch: tinned spaghetti/ravioli/tortellini and toast fruit of either Orange/watermelon/pineapple/melon pot of yoghurt
Dinner: something I've cooked such as cottage pie/cheesy pasta and veg/beef stew pot of peti filous yoghurt and fruit.

Advice required please

It sounds like she is eating well. I would probably just wait for her to drop the bottles herself as I think at this stage milk is more important than food. My dd started refusing bottles when she was ready to drop them, or would only drink about 1oz. She's just turned 1 and is drinking 3xbottles/day
7am 8oz
2pm 5oz
bedtime 6oz.

Her 4th bottle was dropped about a month a go (at 11pm ) and her 5th bottle was dropped around 9 months I think and it was around 11am. Just follow her lead, she will let you know.

I agree with above, wait for her to drop a bottle herself. DD was done with bottles by 13m. We never forced her, that is just when she was ready. Keep feeding her and offering her food... if she is anything like DD, she'll realize that solids is just as yummy as a bottle by a year. :flower:
