LO is 6 and half months old with 2 teeth......am desperate for my life and my body back!!!!
Anybody out there who has successfully weaned from breast to formula give me a magic answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, I don't have any answers for you. Perhaps you can tell us what the particular problems you're having are, then someone might have some suggestions.

basically she won't take a bottle...at first i thought it was the milk. i bought HiPP and it smelt vile so bought Cow n Gate follow on...she swallowed it but then realised it wasn't booby. I bought a weaning bottle bt that seems no better.

Have you offered EBM in a bottle, and does she accept that? Just wondering if it's the bottle she doesn't like or the formula.

If it's the bottle it might be worth trying a different brand. If it's the milk, maybe offering a mix of EBM and formula would work - start with mostly EBM, then you could gradually increase the ratio of formula by say an ounce every couple of days.

I'm afraid I haven't experienced this myself, but if I was in your situation that's what I would try.

Yes she has always taken EBM in bottles..even when I am in the same room. I was hoping not to have to express any more...I hate that bloody pump!!! I will have to give it a go though!!!

Are you using formula or follow-on milk?

This may sound daft but how about using formula but rub the teat of the bottle in EBM. Or try mixing EBM and formula.

This sucks (no pun!) but have you tried letting LO go a little longer without a feed so she will be hungry enough to 'drink' something different? Just an idea!

I am using Cow n Gate follow on milk....i had free vouchers in post!!!
she has taken 3oz tonight and fell asleep...given up on the weaning bottle/cup for now and gave her the bottle.
