I haven't had a second trimester loss myself but my best friend recently did. I found this song and though some of you might like to listen to it :)
Small bump-Ed Sherran

xx

Found the lyrics :hugs:

You were just a small bump unborn for 4 months then brought to life,
You might be left with my hair but you'll have your mother's eyes,
I'll Hold your body in my hands be as gentle as I can,
but for nownow you're a scan of my unmade plans, a small bump,
In 4 months you're brought to life

I'll hold you tightly, I'll give you nothing but truth,
If you're not inside me I'll put my future in you

Cos you are my one, and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
oh you are my one and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
and You'll be alright

You're just a small bump unknown, you'll grow into your skin,
With a smile like hers,
and a dimple beneath your chin,
Finger nails the size of a half grain of rice,
eyelids closed to be soon opened, wide a small bump,
in 4 months you will open your eyes

And I'll hold you tightly; I'll give you nothing but truth
If you're not inside me, I'll put my future in you

Cos you are my one and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
Oh, you are my one and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
And you'll be alright

You can lie with me, with your tiny feet when you're half asleep, I'll leave you be,
Right in front of me for a couple weeks,
So I can keep you safe

Cos you are my one and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
Ohh you are my one, and only,
You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight,
And you'll be alright

You're just a small bump unborn just four months then torn from life,
and Maybe you were needed up there but we're still un-aware as why.

I got the Ed Sheeran cd myself for Christmas and listened to it for the first time yesterday. I didn't know about this song before and when I heard it it just touched me so much. It is so sweet and makes me well up. I'm sure so many of us in this area will be able to relate to it since so many of us lost our own 'small bumps' around 4-5 months along.

On a related note, I've actually made myself a playlist of positive hopeful songs on my computer to keep my spirits up. Here are a few of my suggestions:
Katy Perry - Firework
Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten
The Proclaimers -I'm on my way
Labi Siffre -Something inside so strong
Alicia Keys - Superwoman
Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Over the rainbow/ wonderful world

(Just wanted to share incase anyone else needs a bit of a lift!) :hugs:

A friend dedicated this song to me. it is beautiful.
