I had my 12 week scan today, and the woman doing it was pushing SO HARD, it hurt. Is that normal?? How do I know that she didn't hurt the baby??

It's normal if baby won't move they have to press to get the baby to move for measurements etc, I nearly wet myself when I had my scan cos the sonographer pushed that hard trying to get my lazy twin to move

So, then everything was great after the pushing??

Yea my twins are both fine, it also depends on how full your bladder is as to how clear they can see my first twin kicks the probe the minute it hits my stomach but lazy twin needs a good prod

It's normal, same thing at my 13 week scan. Won't hurt baby but its not very comfortable for mum.
Bub is very protected at this stage.

I think it depends on the sonographer and the equipment they're using. I had two ultrasounds a day apart and the first one she pushed so hard. The next day the sonographer didn't have to push as hard, but it still hurt pretty bad from the previous day. Different people, different machines.

Yes I was also surprised at how hard they push. It hurt me too x
