soooo confused!! any advice please

Hi Ladies,

I found out i was 4 weeks pregnant on 9/11/10 we were so excited we booked in to have hcg bloods taken straight away with having a previous ectopic in Aug.....here my hcg results

14dpo...30
16dpo...64
20dpo...185

So yesterday (22dpo) had other blood tests taken at different hospital they unfortunately came down to 155 dropped by 30......

Early preg unit explained that pregnancy was failing and to repeat bloods on mon to see if they decrease further if they do then my bosy will asborb it if not then they will investigate....

So yesterday there was a slight pink/brown tinge when i wiped and had to look to see if it really was...Today no symptons at all apart from really sore boobs which i noticed today no bleeding/cramps nothing

Totally confused anyone with any advice i just thought if HCG levels lowering would start bleeding or have cramps....

I didnt want to read and run. But in a way its a waiting game. From my experience my hcg levels was sort of still high even tho i miscarried 5 days later after aving over 2000 hcg. Just try and take it easy it could be normal just av to wait and see what happens monday. I really hope they go up for u

me too...they only went down from 185 to 155 only 30 which makes me think might still be ok but need to still prepare myself for the worst aswell...

and with not sufferring any symptons aswell dont know if you have to drop to a certain level before bleeding starts not sure..

Guess just a waiting game x

Aww hun..you already know I am thinking of you.. well now I am stalking you as well!! I am hoping its just a blip, as the previous numbers looked like they wer doubling?? mine never did that, although hcg levels werent checked til week 6 of my pregnancy! xx

I'm sorry for your losses. Dropping hcg isn't a good sign. It can take a while for the bleeding to start. Progesterone and hcg seem to have to zero out sometimes in order for your body to let go.

There is a huge debate on effects on hcg levels in blood tests. Apparently if you are feeling a bit dehydrated this can bring your levels down. Also I guess different hospitals will use different labs whose machines may not read to the same level of accuracy. I really hope this is the case for you.
