Hello :)

I have been searching the internet and cant find anything :dohh:

On the 25th October we did our kittens stronghold and she has developed a sore on her neck which was a scab and has now come open, it wasn't even where we put the strong hold?

Anyway I am booking her to see a vet tomorrow, but I am just wondering if anyone has ever had the same problem with their cat and stronghold?

sorry to sound dumb... what is strong hold? Hope the vet can treat it hun, poor kitty xx

oh.... now I know what you mean, sorry hun. I used something similar on my dog. I think it was called 'spot on' or something like that. Maybe its just a bad reaction to it hun... let us know how you get on at the vets x

don't be sorry, I didn't know what it was till the vet gave it to us. The thing is we pay x amount per month for all her fleaing and worming, they should have checked it on her before giving it to us, so I might try and argue it lol

My cat had this , and by her bum turns out its a reaction to fleas ! She's on frontline combo and I can't get rid of fleas!

it was the strong hold. The have given us some cream to apply twice daily. hopefully it will help it heal. They didn't charge us for the consultation as it was their fault she had the reaction which was good of them. The are going to look at giving her a 6 monthly injection with flea stuff. It doesn't stop them getting on her but it will stop them being able to reproduce so with a flea collar as well she should be fine.

I think that's really good of them as it isn't their fault your cat was allergic, just one of those things

Glad you got cream and a future solution for her

I didn't mean there fault in she was allergic I meant because they were meant to do a spot test.
