Sore Perineum?

I'm 6 weeks post birth. I had my 6 week checkup and my OB told me that everything is healed. However, my perineum is still sore. I had a small tear (less than a tear from an episotomy) I notice the soreness especially when I press on it.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Mine was sore for quite sometime. I was even worried it might have been infected and had it checked out again. I think it just takes a long time to heal. *hugs*

I have this too! scared to be intimate as my partner is well endowed.

I had a 3rd degree tear, the first week was hell... a little more then 2 weeks and I'm still feeling tender.
