Sore throat?

I'm not sure yet if it's a flu starting up but my throat is killing me! I'm also very exhausted a lot of the time.

I sometimes even cough up mucus which just makes me so nauseous! So far I drunk a cup of hot chocolate which has helped relieve some pain but I'm not sure what else I can do. Is there any medicine I can take to help relieve the pain from my throat?

As crazy as i sound Marshmallows also help. There is something in them that covers your throat and eases the pain.
