Where oh where to begin??!!.... Ill begin by apologising in advance for this rant and how mean I may sound during some parts of it.

I woke up not in the best of moods.... you could say I got out of the wrong side of the bed! So what I really needed was an average day, if not even a few nice surprises. Way too much to ask for tho... let me tell you about my day......

I woke up and checked my bank account- my wages didnt go in. I get paid every fortnight, so decided to check my calendar to make sure today was a payday.... it was. I contacted the payroll office where I work. They told me they made a mistake. *phew* then they told me they would correct the mistake and pay me..... TWO WEEKS from today in the next paycheck!:hissy:

I had 4 people that I dont know...thats four random strangers, walk up to me at various points today and touch my stomach! What makes people think they have a right?!

Then I had to listen to (not partake in) a conversation that everyone felt the need to join in on be it any of their business or not!... the convo in question? LOs grandparents. appearantly if LOs father hasnt told them that Im pregnant I should. Well I dont know if he's told them or not. I havent heard from him in 6 fricken months!! Well why havent I? ..... He didnt contact me!.... So why didnt I contact him? Dont I realise its appearantly important for my child to have a father. And on and on and on and on and on for the duration of all the LOTR movies played back to back! Basically they said everything bar 'YOU ARE UNCAPABLE OF DOING THIS ALONE'.

I ended their convo very abruptly when I stood up and announced 'you know what? An opinion is like a butthole- everyone has one and most of em stink' and then walked off.

Well at least I know how to make a dramatic exit.....even if i did waddle out of the room Lol! Sorry for rant, but i feel so much better now!

Yep I have deffo had better. I think I might still be a bit anxious bout the results of my bloods! But I even feel better having gotten ot off my chest. :)

Dunno what Id do without this forum! And all the lovely ladies on it! x

Ohhh I know exactly how you feel.

Adam's mom doesn't know? Contact her.
Adam didn't tell you what he wants? Call him until you get an answer
Oh, you don't want to call him? Don't you know your baby needs her dad, you dumb pregnant freak?

And then I get the opposite:

You're going to let Adam see the baby? Don't you know that will f**k her up for life?

Exactly, I mean do they really think they its not hard enough? As much as I wanted for my baby to at least have a father that cares about him/her I had to resign myself to the fact that he doesnt/won't ever give a shit. And that was something i had to deal with quiet early on. All the people since who have felt the need to chime in with 'he'll come around' what makes them think its goin to make a difference if my LO is 10yrs old and the sperm doner decides he wants in?? Doesnt work that way. And I cant make him respond or want to take an interest so most of their so called opinions just go over my head!

I'm in that stage of realisation ATM hun, and it seems every man and his wife has an opinion on it too. You can not make someone want to be a father. You can only hope that they have a moment of realisation. They have no right to talk about you that way, in front of you or not, but the fact they did... is not nice. And good on you for making your point known, I doubt I'd have been so patient throughout the convo, I'd have growled - a lot. I hope you're okay hun. big
