Sorry, tmi...red blood in bm?

So I have days where I am running to the bathroom with diarrhea, and days where I am constipated pretty badly. This morning it was kind of in between. I make sure to eat plenty of fiber every day. Anyway, when I went to wipe, there was some bright red blood. Panicked, I also wiped my vaginal area, and didn't see anything. Looked at the stool, and there's bright red blood in it. I have never had hemorrhoids before, so I don't know exactly what to look for. I know my bum is a little sore now, so I am not sure what the deal is. My dr office isn't open yet, and I have an appt tomorrow morning. Should I wait until then? My little man has been moving some, and still is since then. I don't want to be one of those that calls their ob at the drop of a hat over every little thing.

What do you ladies think?

Sounds like hemorrhoids to me. They can be a bump on the outside of your bum and they can be inside. If you feel any on the outside, wiping with witch hazel will feel great! The nurse can check to see if there's any inside when you go in.

sounds like hemorrhoids to me.. completely normal, and a pain in the butt (literally!). Preperation H cream really helped me a ton with my first pregnancy, it's super gross, but you have to put it inside for it to really help - it comes with a little attachment thing to help.

They can be pretty annoying, but it's something i've tried to not freak out too much about. Sometimes mine are so bad that after i go to the bathroom the toilet bowl is full of blood and looks like something horrible just happened.

Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease! I have never had anything like this before, even with my first pregnancy. I keep telling myself as long as baby is moving still and there is no more blood, all is well. I went to the restroom 4 times, checking for more blood from where I'm worried about it coming from, only to find nothing. Thank you, Lord!! I'll just wait and mention it to my dr tomorrow.

Red blood is much less of a concern usually, if it looked older (browny/black ) I believe that's when it can be something more sinister. But of course, worth checking over, but had morning will be fine x

Just had this problem today actually. Definitely sounds like hemorrhoids to me. I noticed like a little circular, just blob thing in the toilet with stringy blood attached (way tmi and way gross), but that's what it looked like to me. The joys of pregnancy!
