Ok, so I am hearing alot about soy? whats the deal with it? I had to go off the metformin because the side effects were too bad. and it still didn't help this cycle, af is stil no where in site with no BFP. Would Soy help my situation to at least get me regulating?

I have PCOS btw

Hi beegray,

I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum back in December, D&C in January, and took 11 weeks for HCG to hit zero. Ever since then, my cycles have been anywhere from 63 to 38 days....I tried soy for the first time last cycle, and O'd on day 16- my earliest O day before that was 26!

Definitely worth a try if your issue is ovulatory. Works like clomid, so it won't help you if you're ovulating normally and your cycles are regular.

Good luck :)

Just a word of caution about Soy, I took it last cycle Cd3-7 although i'm ovulating i wanted to increase the chances of a heathier, stronger egg.. or 2 :winkwink: I O'd 2 days earlier on CD11... and bled for 5 days after O! I ended up going to the Dr as i was concerned i had done some damage, thankfully she said she didn't think i had, but thought the bleeding was like a withdrawal bleed coming of BCP and to concider this cycle a washout... and she was right AF showed this morning :dohh: (Then again it shows every month anyway) I got 2 days with no spotting, but then it started again. (my chart should show under the new one if you want to look at it)

I don't regret taking it, If i had waited longer and it had worked first time i'd have kicked myself, however despite all that i'm considering taking it one more time at a lower dose

xx
