does anyone have a guide to spd?

my oh doesnt understand it, so id like to print out some infomation for him so he can understand the pain i am in, and what he can do to help

im going to print off information for him then stick it in the toilet lol

:haha: thats where my DH does all his reading too lol

I'm sorry you are suffering, I'm in the same boat as you so I can completely sympathise. But at least it isn't permanent and will go away once baby arrives :flower:

he is adimin that its my muscles not my pelvis and keeps trying to offer me a sports massage

I just explain to people that it feels like an invisible man has gripped my pubic bone and is tearing the to sides away from eachother. Sometimes, I genuinely wonder if labour could really hurt MORE

oooohhhh nonononononono a sports massage would only send you over the edge!!!! Your joints could be unstable and he could accidentally hurt you!! Have you seen a physio?? That can really help, also you shouldn't do things like hoover or brush or mop the floor. No heavy lifting and when you are walking use shorter steps. When walking up the stairs lead with your better leg if one side is worse than the other. In bed a pillow between your legs really helps. Keep your knees together when turning and when getting in and out of the car sit your bum in and swivel your legs round to get into the car.
