Thats why I asked the question about if they thought they would all fertilize because I would go for it. I figure that if I would never be given more than I could handle. I put my faith in fate and what is meant for me. I would def go for it though. I just did not want to say that I would do it because I did not want you to feel bad if you chose not to go for it. I wish you luck on what ever you decide to do but think it through and talk with your OH and good luck.

You'd have a higher chance of multiples but I very much doubt all 8 would successfully fertilise & implant

Its very very very VERY rare for this to happen on Clomid especially when you are on 50mg, the chance of conceiving multiples is only 8% on 50mg, 25% 100% and 40% on 150-200 mg

HOWEVER, like Aflight, some women will develop many eggs on either dose od clomid. in a study done only 3 of 200 women conceived more then twins on clomid 50mg. ITs crazy isn't it? lol


NOW .... I'm scared about the clomid LOL

ok after a stressful weekend thinking of nothing else but this i've decided to take the sonographers advice and not try this month i'm too worried about the risks and complications but i'm going to make sure the "specialist" knows just what he's put me through and make sure he puts it right. i'm going to make sure i'm given either an HSG or a LAP and Dye to make sure there's no damage to my tubes after all of this.

I'm sorry that this has happened to you. 8eggs!! I think you've been faced with a tough dicision. I think when you wiegh both sides, it makes it harder. If by some miricle all 8 were fertilized, then you'd be faced with making even harder choices.
I think it's crummy the way your doc has treated you, stand your ground and get things set right. At least, as someone has already said, you've got eggs!!

the cramps are getting worse and i'm in so much pain. i'm now taking cocodamol for the pain and it's not even touching it. I'm due to ovulate tomorrow and the pains get worse by the day i'm scared how big the eggs are now.
