What is Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)?
The treatment of ICSI is very to the conventional method of IVF. In IVF, the egg and sperm will be kept together. The difference between both of these procedures is in fertilization.
During the ICSI treatment, the glass needle is used to take the sperm and then it is injected into the egg. The entire process is carried out in the laboratory by the embryologists and he uses all the latest equipment. In this, very few sperms are needed and the requirement that the sperm should meet the egg is not important as they are directly inserted into the egg.
When is the ICSI recommended?

• Low Sperm Count

• Frozen sperm
ICSI is recommended for the patients who are using the frozen sperm and it is also not of the best quality. It is specially used when the sperm is stored because the fertility issue was on high level.
• Genetic condition
You are facing the issue of a genetic condition and the sperm is sticking outside the egg and this will affect the results.
