Spelling and pronunciation of name?

I really love the name Leander Joseph for a boy but I'm struggling with girl names (I know plenty of time ) which do you prefer? Giovanna-Sofia or Geovana-Sofia? I know their fairly similar but obviously the pronunciation is slightly different. Also would the Sofia part be ok seeing as my name is Sophie?

Giovanna as its the original Italian spelling. I think the Sofia part would be ok, it's quite a long name so she will probably get referred to as giovanna most of the time.
