Hi
I had the copper coil fitted last August, was on the pill after Dd was born but since giving birth the pill really did not agree with me, tried 3 different types but ended up teary, angry, no sex drive at all so we decided the best thing was to have a contraception that had no hormones in and it has really helped with everything.
My periods did get heavier but I was never v heavy anyway so it didnt bother me too much and were regular.
Last month I was 10 days late and I started panicking, we really are not looking to get pregnant again for a long while if ever, but then I came on and it was all fine although a lot lighter than usual.
Since then I have had on and off spotting and im not sure where it has come from after a year of being fine?!
Ive got an appointment tomorrow evening to have it checked to make sure its all in place ok, it was in January when I had a smear test and the nurse chexked whilst she was there lol two birds one stone and all that. Just wondering if anyone had anything similar with the copper coil?
