Now I lurrrrve sprouts, always buy them for xmas and I'm the only bugger that eats them, I end up eating most of them and then being on the loo most of the day!

So who's got a recipe for them that will make them taste irresistible to the rest of the family?

Something with bacon I reckon? And summat quick & easy! lol.

bacon chesnuts and butter!

I have teenage kids and they love dads Christmas day sprouts!

On Christmas Eve open a Bottle of cheap red Wine and pour into a bowl,
clean the sprouts cutting a deep X into the end,
Ok, now put the sprouts into the wine and refrigerate over night!

about 15 mins before Lunch is ready transfer wine and sprout into a saucepan.

Boil till tender, then using a strainer remove the sprouts, you can put the wine in you gravy mmmmmmmmm.

now melt a large knob of Butter in a frying pan and add the sprouts moving them around for even cooking.

THE BEST BIT! Add to the frying Pan half a cup full of Brandy call the kids in and switch lights off, put a match to the Brandy :) fantastic serve immediatly The Family will love them ! I Promise!

Let me know.
