Stabbing pain under left breast??

Has anyone experienced this? not sure what it is had it pretty much all day on and off.

It could be related with your diet or maybe the way you are spending your day
I was diagnosed with stomach hernia and Gastrtis (mild) a year back when i ended up in hospital with the same pains as you described, still have them time to time but the only difference is that i don't run to A&E. Mine getting worse after the birth of my twins (4 months)so my GP reffered me to the gastro't and they are going to c me very soon. Sometimes Helicobacter causes infection in stomach which can lead to this sort of pain (nothing medicine can't fix) I would say if it's continous then better take a professional advice, it could be nothing!

I get it occasionally, but mine is related to stitches and/or a misplaced rib. Not sure what yours could be.

i get this! very painful it lasted 6hours no-stop end of march thought i was having a heart attack! is the pain worse when inhaling deepley? mine do!under going tests at the moment on my galbladder on how its functioning,been tested for H.Pylori and that was neg

well didnt have it for a few days and now its back. Not sure what it may be related to, it can be felt more if i make a sudden movement or breathe in. Havent seeked medical advice yet but may pop docs 2moro. Its very frightening.

is it only on the left side or in the middle as well?? I can totally feel what you said, I ended up in hospital yesterday with the shittiest pain ever . And i dunno but they kind'a made me more painful as no painkiller was working and they were doing everything related to my heart.....despite of what i was telling.. that something's in my stomach and surrounding not in heart... you know they are the doctors and aren't supposed to listen to what the paitent is telling them.... 6 hours in MAJORS and was discharged with BUSCOPAN which didn't help even a tiny bit .... I m seeing my GP tomorrow for sure....this pain really hurts. I rekcon it's related to your stomach..sometimes a pinched muscle in stomach can cause it too. just relax and do see your GP tomorrow.

ohh dear thats awful. I may just hold out until 2moro and see gp. To be honest my stomach dnt feel right either, there is slight discomfort there. Someone else suggested it may be wind but im not sure about that. Havent really experienced any wind today. Do you think yours may be related to wind?

It for sure is a very frightening pain, i thought it was my heart aswell.

Nooop, No wind at all, stomach issues can be quite silient sometimes, i do feel bloated but no wind..... The pain is more like stabbing and sometime very very sharp..... It just won't let me sleep or do aything for a while...Good thinking to c your GP ... even if it is just for a change...

exactly how i feel when the pain comes on strong!!! haveu eaten anything fatty that u remember? sometimes that brings the pain on,ive gotta see my specialist 1st august for my results from the hida scan,Good luck with the doc but i can guarantee u 100% they will give u antacids i was put on Omerprazole didnt work at all Xx

yes i did have something last night that werent too healthy from the chippy..i also feel; very bloated..no wind as such though

if the pain comes on mostly after eating anything fatty then u mighthave something wrong with your gallbladder,ask your doc for an ultrasound, dont leave it,it will only get worse to the point where u end up in a&e Xx

my gallbladder issues seemed to start of left sided. i would get checked out.

Most times i dealt with it by myself, but the last time i ended up in hospital, then i found out i had pancreatitis which can be really serious, im pregnant with twins but they had to take my gallbladder out because they said if it happens again ill either be in ITU or dead.

So make sure you get it checked out.

The pain i experinced from gallstones esp the last attack was the worse imaginable, its actually worse than childbirth!

u just described my well wot i think gallbladder attack , i.m awaiting test results ave 2 c the specialist 1st august Xx
