Standing to take a bottle

Is this a bad thing? I don't like doing it (and can't remember how it started) but Adam seems to like being fed his bottle standing up, it's like feeding a lamb. It's usually only the teatime bottle, the others he sits ok on my lap. He will take like 1oz sitting, then want to be down. Don't know whether to just stop doing it and make him sit nicely, or if it's all right to do.

He's nearly 10 months old.

when mine were 10 months i just gave them the bottle and let them get on with it
