Start collecting baby gear

This and if so what are you getting lol or am I weird
This is my first proper month ttc timing wise since my mmc back in nov 12 so I have a collection of stuff from that
we have been ntnp but half the effort and been super busy

I've been picking up things I see and really want my child to have. I'm obsessed with elephants and there really popular right now so anytime I see something I want I buy haha but I put it all up so I don't see it all the time.

I've gotten a few things from the internet that were on sale..the basics like a sling carrier, car seat cover, and udder cover (for breast feeding). My grandma already knit me a blanket a couple years ago (wasn't ttc then and she doesn't know now) in case she isn't here by the time we have a child...thanks for the cry grandma :/

But other than that I've been good. I also have a couple stuffed animals I got with tickets to a zoo from a silent auction. I'm trying really hard to stay away from clothes...

I'm the same I have most things except clothes right die'n to breast pump lol I was hoping I wasn't only one
Even my partner gets in on something's kinda cute

I've allowed myself to buy one outfit set and it's giraffes so it was too cute to not pick up! DH says no more clothes until bfp But I've bought two cloth diapers and talked hubby into building a small stash as we ttc! So I think every paycheck I'll just buy one cloth diaper to ease the desire to go nuts shopping

wow, you guys are great for letting yourselves already have some fun! I can't do it until I get a BFP - I don't want to jinx myself! I realize that's juvenile, but oh well - I have a ton of friends who are holding things for me that their kids have grown out of (toys, playmats, etc) and I have a few things that were given to me or made for me, but I can't allow myself to shop just yet. Beachy - I get the good cry, my mother-in-law made us a few things that are so precious and we lost her last March. Pretty sure I'll cry again over them, hopefully soon with a BFP!
