Started bleeding heavily again..is this normal?

Hi girls

After thinking I was over the worst of my miscarriage on Thursday night, I have started bleeding really heavily again today and am getting through a big pad every 20 minutes or so. The cramping hasn't really subsided at all for 2 days now. Is this normal? Haven't suffered a mc before so don't really know what to expect.

First of all hun I am so sorry for your loss. When I had my m/c is was 7+4 and it started out really, really light then got heavier then ended up turning into my normal AF bleed. I hope the fact you are off line is that you have gone to the hospital and are getting checked out as, that is the best thing to do. and hope it stops soon for you.

No am still here but bleeding seems to have subsided a bit so will just wait and see if that's it now.

how's your bleeding? The doc told me if you're changing pads more than once every hour, you need to be seen, as you're running a risk of becoming anemic and iron deficient. Bleeding on and off is normal, however. That means there's still stuff needing to be expelled. Mine went on for 2 weeks on and off, then tappered down to a normal period to a light one 2 weeks later.

I, too, am wondering how your doing? My doctor warned me of the same issue with bleeding enough to fill a pad in an hour. I hope you are doing better. I bled for a week and than spotted for a few more days but I had a D&C so I don't think it is quite the same. Good luck hun.
