Lucky! Enjoy your maternity leave. I worked up until I was induced at 40w2d. In the US it's really crappy for pregnant women to have maternity leave.
I think it depends on what state youre in...ive seen some people go on maternity leave early...and then have it continue loooooong after LO is born,sometimes it seems a little TOO long hahaha,luckys

It's still pretty crappy to live in the US. The maximum amount of time you're technically allowed to go on maternity leave through FMLA is 12 weeks, after that you're not guaranteed the same position that you had prior to FMLA. Which really isn't that long at all. In England, usually it's a year.

My maternity leave actually starts on July 8th when im 36 weeks, but i had 3 weeks holiday to use up before i left, so my last shift is actually tomorrow (and im 33 weeks). I'm so glad i decided to use my holiday before i left because i literally have no energy left for work anymore. I respect any girl that works right up to the end!

i will be leaving on the 29th june, a week on this coming friday! i will be exactly 35 weeks! ooo i can not wait to leave! i wouldnt want to leave any later!! xx
