I came back borderline positive for APS, I need another test in 10 weeks to see if its still positive. But to be cautious, they have started me on LDA and clexane injections.

Anyone else on them? Im petrified for my baby!

Ive had 3 chemical pregnancies and Im 15 weeks with my first

Any success stories?

No success story here, but just wanted to send :hugs:

I had a dvt and pulmonary embolism at 2 weeks postpartum and I'm currently taking warfarin. If I get pregnant again I will have to have clexane injections from the day I get a bfp to a couple of weeks postnatal.

Hope you find someone who has been through it all before and can put your mind at rest.

I'm sat feeding my gorgeous healthy 5 month old as I write this reply - and I was on 2 clexane injections a day from 12 weeks pregnant to 6 weeks post delivery.
Injections aren't much fun but all worth it in the end x

Congratulations, thats lovely to hear! If you don't mind me asking? How was your birth? Was your baby early? Were you induced? C-section?

Sorry just dont know a lot about it

Thankyou xx

Hey I have a inherited problem called protein s deffiancy Its a blood disorder i have to inject fragmin every day from when I fall pregnant till I'm 6 weeks after giving birth I did this last year when I had my lo not sure if your clexane is similar I was worried at first but now I just do it as I did last year not sure if I can help with what u want to know but I can try x

I had a natural birth and she was 5 days late. Consultant just said as soon as I suspect labour to stop injections immediately as you can't have epidural til so many hours after last dose of clexane depending on how much you are taking. (I didn't have an epidural either time but if you want one it could be an issue and also if you were to need emergency section for any reason if you can't have epidural you'd have to go under general - first labours aren't generally that quick though so chances are you could easy stop the clexane in plenty of time to have full pain relief choices)
If I had got to the stage of having an induction I would have stopped my injections at an agreed time before hand and that would be the same for planned c sections.
I was induced with my first on clexane and just stopped injecting the morning before induction (although as induction took 3 days it didn't really matter!)
