starting clomid - advice PLEASE

Hey ladies

I'm starting clomid this cycle and i've just noticed my AF is coming....only showing when i wipe at the moment so do i wait for tomorrow to be CD1 and then start it the day after (i have to start on CD2) OR is today CD1 as i've started to see AF tonight?

Confused.com

CD 1 is counted when you have full flow not just spotting so it sounds like you do need to wait until tomorrow to me.

i heard that if your AF show full flow after 5 pm to count the following day as CD1...

i will wait until you have full flaw ...probably tomorrow morning for you ...

Hi Bird agreed what miel said, my gyni told me wait for full AF flow, so CD1 tomorrow then... and then count 6 days after last tab to get some good bding in from then.... I pray clomid is your answer girl.....

Hi, I have heard conflicting views. The first consultant said that I should take clomid from cycle day 2-6 and that cycle day 1 is the the day of full flow although if it starts after 5pm then you count the following day as day1. Then the new consultaent has said that Cycle day 1 is the first day regardless of the flow and time etc! Very confusing stuff, if I were you I would contact the specialist, nurse etc to follow the treatment as they have explained

Out of interest was your cycle this month any shorter ? I was only on CD25 so it was 3 days shorter than normal and took me by suprise at her arrival ?

I'm only on CD4 of this cycle and started clomid a couple of days ago so i'm not sure what my cycle length will be this month yet but my normall cycles are anywhere from 23 - 42 days long so just hoping for a more regular cycle length or an amazing BFP!!!

Goodluck!!! i have heard that clomid can change your normal cycle length but should then be the same each time you take it to make you more regular

Im not sure, I have read so many conflicting things! I think anytime 6 days after your last tablet

I'll probably just do it everyday for the rest of the cycle as some site say you can ovulate more than once in a month or something so i'll be trying all cycle and praying!!

anyone else heard that caffeine can have a bad effect against clomid??

I had that with the Clomid hun... It mostly affected my tummy, and Bding not nice when tummy is cramping and making noises sorry TMI i know....
