Staying logged in when using mobile....

Has anything changed in regards to this? I've used my phone for years to come on here, never having to log in. It just automatically recognises me.

However in the last week, everytime I come on, it asks for my username and password. Yes it does 'remember me' and puts the info in for me, and I log in. Then 5 mins later if I come back to it, have to log in again!!!!

Any ideas as to why it's happening? I wouldn't mind logging in once a day but it's over 20 times atm!!!

I get this too! Was looking here to see if it is just me I reset my password to see if it helped, which it didn't. Im on an Android, Samsung s3 mini. X

I'm glad it's not just me!!!! Twice in the last week I've hit log in, and it says 'thanks for logging in your being redirected' and 3 seconds later I'm back to the log in screen!! I have to try and log in about 10 times before it finally let's me!

Thankfully that's only happened twice though!

Are you selecting stay logged in? Your device remember your login details is different from the actual option available on the forum.

If so close all your apps and browsers down. Clear cache like you would a PC/laptop and reopen your browser.

I've always 'stayed logged in' so to speak and not changed any settings. I'll check later.

Wobbles....im a techno phobe....what's cache and how on earth would I clear it from an iPhone?!!

From your iphone shut down all your pages/apps... from iphone 6:

Double click home button
Swipe up to close down pages fully
Settings
safari
Clear history and website date
Open safari
Open BnB login again

Let me know if you have another version and need help. I think below 6 it says 'clear cache and cookies', could be wrong lol

Thanks wobbles. I've got a 5, I googled how to do it last night, wiped my history and data, closed all apps and pages and turned the phone off.

It definitely worked as it cleared my online banking info...yet when I come on here it knew my username and password still, and I'm having to log in. It's not a huge deal, just odd that it's just started happening.

Are you using safari browser? Are you using the desktop mode or the mobile version of BnB? x

Yes using safari, and the desktop version.

It's very odd though, it won't let me log in when I'm using 3G, it says 'thanks for logging in' and my username, then bounces me back to log in screen. When I'm on wifi I get in straight away....

I'll try resetting all my internet options etc on my phone, perhaps reset the phone too and see if any of that helps.

I'm using on the mobile fine which this and the fact I have no more enquiries makes me believe the problem isn't with us. This problem isn't uncommon but is usually resolved with the steps I gave you above.
