Stein fumes

Just came home and realized that DH stained some wood in the basement. The whole house smells horrible. I'm 12.5 weeks pregnant. I was already in a down mood all day now I am mad about this. I asked him to take out of the house whatever he stained. There is no ventilation downstairs. I opened the doors an window and started couple of fans. I am SO WORRIED! I have no families or friends to spend the night so I will be more likely in contact with some of the fumes.
Anybody knows how dangerous is and what else can I do? I am terrified...

I have an air purifier that I'd use in this case. If you don't have one, I'd just keep a window open. If it's as cold there as it is there, if at all possible, go to a store and get an air purifier and keep your bedroom door closed with the purifier running to get rid of those toxins. I know it's late, you wrote this a long time ago, and I hope you've figured something out by now...
