step parents support thread

Following advice from stir crazy I have started a step parent support thread in the parenting groups section.

I am not a step parent but I daughter to one. And I just wanted to say that I am sure walking into a situation of a family can not be easy. I know life for my dad must not have been but he did the best job any person could do. I love my dad ( or what you would call step dad) more then anything. He has been my rock in everything and always reassured me in my choices if I ever I needed. He is the greatest father anyone could ever have, and on behalf of every step child out there I want to thank you for being there for us. We know we can be difficult and make it tough on you but you guys pull through it all and I wanted to thank you for loving those children like your own like my father does with me!
